Monitoring and Other Information

The Luton Local Plan update has begun, and this page will include updates to the monitoring of land supply and to the preparation of the supporting evidence base.

We intend to update the Strategic Housing Land Assessment following a ‘call for sites’ consultation in December 2024 /February 2025 and to publish it in the New Year.

This will help to bring the council’s land supply information up to date in accordance with national policy and guidance. The current SHLAA was published in 2019 and can be found below.
